i am a healthy 22 year old women and have always eaten friut, veg and dairy products on a daily basis since i was a baby
but
since i have begun university 3 years ago i had begun to get allergic to almost every single fruit imaginable and the list is continuing to grow till this day,
like: cherry's, apples, plums and a few days ago grapes,

and i also managed to build up an intollarence for milk and if i drink biotic drink it swells my gums and makes them bleed
(i mean what the f**k)

is this normal??
i went to the doctor many times about this 2 find out the cause of it & the doc said it was prob due to the fact that universities are full of roaming germs due to all the collective people who move there from around england and the world.

does this mean that this is going to effect me for the rest of my life? :'(

has this happened to anybody b4 or is it just me being very unlucky?
and what can i do 2help prevent these allergies, i dont want 2 give up eating fruit

I am at work, in a hospital. I watch telemetry, basically watch patient's hearts beat and try to determine if they are having fatal arrhythmias. HOWEVER, I sit in this tiny 4ft x 4ft room to do this, in the dark, with the air vent directly above my head. I am so cold my bones are achy. I have taken blankets from the warmer, jogged in place, drunk coffee... the thermostat can not be changed.

IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I CAN DO?

I am not allowed to leave this room. I am to watch these monitors at all times. HELP!

I manage a restaurant(a fast food one), and just yesterday, I was called several abusive names whilst trying to resolve a customer issue(I am ALWAYS 100% professional and polite), and was shouted at so much by one person who rang up to complain that I hung up on them, a first for me as I can normally take whatever the disgustingly mannered public can throw at me, after ten years of doing this.

However, I am always amazed when I go into over places and hear people complain, they are so much more reserved and polite, where as me and my other managers are often subject to personal attacks and appalling language. What is wrong with people that they think they can talk to us this way?

a friend who suffers from depression had overdosed, and went by ambulance to hospital -leeds general infirmary, she was conscious all the way. whilst in a&e she was ignored completly bearing in mind her mental health wasnt that great, she was seen by a nurse and doctor who completly patronised her, and just presumed she had broken up with her boyfriend( she was a assault victim the attack contributed to depression and suicide bid). she was admitted to an observation ward where again completly ignored by the staff, who she heard talking about her instead of to her. anyway she got better and moved on, a few month later she was back in a&e (leeds again) with a injured back and was treat in such a different manner-the staff actually acknowleged her!
anyone else ever experienced this with uk hospitals?

I have a step son and i have been in his life for 5 years now, and he still treats me like crap most of the time. He is only 8, but he is so very mouthy to me and his dad, and he doesn't listen to what I say and when I do tell him to do something and he gets mad he screams and yells like a girl and cries like a baby. and he has started with the "your not my mom" thing and I knew that was gonna come someday I just thought it would be much later in life. I love this kid so much, but the way he treats me sometimes I think... is this all worth it??? I love his dad unconditonally, and it scares me to think I would leave b/c of his son, but a person is only capable of so much...I need real advice, not smart comments, please help
