Pink, because even a single story house has stairs to the front or rear entrance. I know that the answer to the riddle is "no stairs" but in reality, unless it is a log house with a dirt floor there will be steps.

Theres no stairs in it cause it's a single storey house not unless your next question will be about a 2 storey house and it will be pink stairs.Well thats one of my favourite colour.
