Granted that we all know 'Indians' turned out to be a misnomer, forcing a new lable on people isn't something I want to do either. Over the holidays someone at a dinner I was at said they had been told that Native Americans preferred to be called 'Indians' which is why that reference rather than 'Native American' is to be found on most of the casinos.
I was wondering, is that true?

when anyone comes to visit me although I am glad to see them at first after about an hour I wish they would go away again as I just want to be left on my own. Am I being anti social or has anyone else got this same problem. Some of my family and friends think I must be lonley but I am not in the slightest and just love being on my own and doing what I want to do anytime I want to do it.

What are the middle school dances like? I am in 8th grade and I have never been to one yet. I keep telling myself that I am going to go in High School because the Middle school dances are very lame. I'm just kinda afraid that no guy will want to dance with me. By the way none of my friends want to go so when there is a dance we all hang out together at a friends house and I think we have more fun there than we would at a dance.....am I right?

I am 33 and have a 7 year old that is well taken care of and happy. I got pregnant again, and then the father left... I was excited about the baby despite his leaving... I am 4 months and not one family member has congradulated me. I feel insulted.. if I am happy, why can't they be happy for me? I have proven that I can do this and do it well..
They are religious, and this does not fit into their 'right and wrong' category on the right side.. but if I am happy, why can't they be happy for me, or at least say 'congradulations'?
