i have that problem, each brand has there won way of sizing.
i like flares and low rise. so i need one size bigger in some like express, then with mudd it is a smaller size.

i hate to try them on but that is the only way and it take an hour to find at least one pair

i have no clue but i think we are the same exact size. and european jeans i am anywhere from a 25-29. when i look for jeans i pick up any size beacause i dont know which will fit. but yeah i wiegh somewhere between 120 and 130 i havent been measured in a while and it sounds like you do too. but yeah just pick up whatever you like and try it on regardless of the number.

take care.

What are your waist and hip measurements?

These sizes are pretty standard measurements for waist/hips:

Size 1/2: 24-34
Size 3/4: 25-35
Size 5/6: 26-36
Size 7/8: 27-37

HTH : )

well, that happens to me 2, but you are really never gonna be the same size in all the stores, I mean, in Aeropostale I am a 1, and in Abercrombie & fitch I am a 3. So yeah, that's just how it is

Just it depends--- average all your sizes. Figure out if you have long legs or not-- then you're long or regular or short. And as for the size in general, what ever the size chart says! Have your measuments of your body at all times when shoppin!

it depends because that's what makes the different brands unique. every brand uses it's own template which vary in terms of overall measurements.
