many people told me that they love this film but i dont know why. After watch this film, i still don't know what's it about? and what makes it so different?

This movie is one of my all-time favorites. I love it because Brad Pitt does an excellent job playing "Tristan." Also I love the romantic story in it. Not to mention that it shows how beautiful America really is. The mountains, the natural hot springs, etc.
I can go on and on...
