I have a friend whose monthly period has been off track for a while. it will come on some months and other months it wont come on at all - or be real late. anyway, lately she has been feeling tired alot, breasts are very sore, and peeing all of the time. she took a pregnancy test last night and it came out faint pos. she went and bought 2 more tests - different brands and they both came back faint positive also. this morning she went to the health dept and had 2 tests done which both came out faint pos. the nurse told her she may or may not be pregnant and a blood test may be the only way to tell. she bought another test today and it came out very very very faint positive. she doesnt have insurance so she would rather not go pay for a blood test right now. what could this mean? please serious responses only! is she pregers or not?

I need to figure out what size the real water wheel needs to be b4 I build the full size model, but I do not know how to figure this out.

I was told during a tour once that a relatively small amout of water was able to produce enough power to run an entire mill because of the distance of the drop and so if there is a way to figure such things out I would like to know what it is.

amylase breaks down corn starch, cellulase breaks down cellulose in grasses. both go to glucose which goes to ethanol. cows, horses, sheep,etc break down cellulose all day every day. They get fat on it. Why is it so difficult to duplicate in a lab?

We went to a movie on New Year's day, and everyone except my grandmother, and my father, who aren't real movie goers went to see the movie.

When we came home, we found my 86 year old grandmother lying at the bottom of the stairs, and we phoned 911 as she was badly injured.

Only my father was home at the time, but he did not find her. This made me really wonder about a comment he made a few months back about pushing grandma down the stairs...

I knew they were getting very run down by taking care of them, but now I don't know what to do. My grandma will be in the hospital for 2 more days, but the doctor's say she will be fine.

The things going through my head right now, are NOT very pleasant to say the least.

I've been divorced for years and still cannot get rid of my exhusband and his psychotic girlfriend. We have three children togather so there will be contact with him until they are adults, but the games, he uses the kids to get to me. He's the biggest loser I've ever met...lies, steals and everything in between. His girlfriend has tried to get my hubby in trouble at work(he's a cop) by making false accusations, she drives by our house to check us out, tells the kids bad things about me and even went so far as to search me on the internet and even found all the questions I answered and asked on here. She proceded to say that I was a liar and didn't know what I was talking about and that I was trying to sleaze my mother-in-law with a question about vested interest I asked. How did she even find my questions? ANYONE KNOW HOW SHE DID THAT? She is so fixated on me and has been for a long time. WHAT CAN I DO TO STOP THIS MADNESS? Get creative for me people!

I've been in a relationship with a great guy for about 6 months now. Recently he told me that he loves and things started getting alot more romantic than it used to be. I felt very good about that but for some odd reason I cant stop having doubts. I cant stop the confusion. I discovered that I have trust issues as I dont trust he really loves me like he says eventhough he shows it. I sometimes feel as though I love him very much and some other times I feel like I'm better off without him. I cant get myself to actually break up with him because I know he's a great guy and I'm afriad I might regret it later. How do I stay stable and in love with him all the time? How can I convince myself that he loves me and that everything is okay?!

I have kind of a dumb question, but it's been bothering me since last night and I need some opinions.

I am living with the man that love very very much. We have been together for nine months after having moved together from our mutual old city to a new one about five hours away.

Of course, in the beginning of our relationship he was extremely affectionate and told me that he loved me several times a day. he literally jumped for joy when I told him (first) that I loved him and beeged me to keep telling him.

Okay, this is where I have my problem........

For the last two or three evenings when he says a prayer over dinner he thanks God for our "friendship". Not love or whatever, friendship.

Am I overreacting and reading into this or is it okay?

Well if anyone has ever read my answers to Christian related questions you would see that at that time I was lost as to who Jesus really is. The revelation of who Jesus is came to me last night and I have peace that I never new was possible. I know that Jesus is not Lucifer, just a fairy tale, just a prophet, He is God in the flesh. He is my salvation. I died and yet I am alive in that I am born again. Jesus is more alive now then ever before in that he lives in me as he does in all Christians. I was told, or had the impression that some one prayed for me. Thanks!

I recently got a Boston terrier puppy. I go back to school on the 8th. He'll be in the crate from 8:30 - 10:30 - my friend has agreed to come let him out for a pee break, but after that he'll be in the crate again from 10:45 - 1:15. There is absolutely nothing else that can be done to maybe have a second outing between 10:45 -1:15. After that he'll be out and about - only put in the crate at night and if I must do something for a short time during the evening. So besides sleeping at night the total crate time will be around 4:30-5 hours maybe 6 depending on how busy I am and traffic.

I missed school all this week and the doctor said maybe I can go tomorrow, but im not sure. I had a temp. of 102.5 yesterday and it currently is 97.8. My cough is still pretty bad, and my athsma is really bad. I think i have it b ad because i had to take medecince right after the nurse took my temp. My doctor put me on Prednisone and Azithromycin.I also have to take my inhaler twice and my nebulizer like 3-4 times a day. I think i am really bad, because he said if i dont get better in 3 days i might have to go to the hospital. I dont have to much of a sore throat anymore, or a fever. But am i still very sick? and should i go to school tomorow?
