I've heard that the sun will eventually expand in 50 million years time destroying the earth and making a mess of my uncle Albert's prize daffodils, but what are the statistical chances of us earthlets being smushed into space goo by a giant meteor (with a tax bill attached to it) before we even get that far?

I'm thinking of investing my money into sun block shares so I'm going to factor your answers into it.

She told a guy at work that she wasn't going out with me, but in real life my girlfriend and I were going out for more than two years. We had a fight about it already. She told me that she liked him and thought she was flirting with him. Now, I think she's talking to him behind my back. What's really hard is that I don't know if she's lying or not. She asks for my forgiveness and stuff, but she is still "friends" with him on facebook and still has his sn on AIM. I don't care about it before because they work with each other but she told him that me and her aren't going out. I love her with all my heart and I really can't let her go. We been through a lot of good and bad times, but is she changing? She have done this before with another guy. One thing, she gets mad at me when I get mad about the situation. What's up with that? I need some advice, info, anything!! Tell me what's on your mind... please have a lot of people to comment this so I can take a right course of action.

My daughter is 17 and seems to have her father on a pedal stool.I always try and down play what he is really like and not bad mouth him but that does not work.I met her father when i was18 in college and he got me pregnant my second year and bailed after i gave him back the money he had given me for an abortion.He did not even pay child support or even meet her till i was 30 and we met up by chance after my first divorce.We decided to try and make it work her father and i the marriage lasted 3 yrs.The divorce was nasty he had cheated on me while i was pregnant with his second child.The man is a bit of a con artist and even went to prison for 5 yrs for white collar crimes!He has never shown any real intrest in his daughter and has not seen her since the divorce 3 yrs ago.I have contacted him for child support and he pays but the only child he ever brings up in conversations is his son!

What defines a compulsive liar? I know there's a difference between a "pathological" liar and a compulsive liar, but i'm not quite sure. One of my friends told me that he thought he was a compulsive liar. I told him to tell his doctor or something, but he's serious about this. It makes sense. He lies about everything, big or small, and most of the time, he does it without thinking. He says telling the truth feels rather awkward, and lying feels natural.

Actually, it isn't the lying that worries me. It's more that he has this habit of actually making people up. Not just experiences or whatever, but actual people. For instance, for TWO YEARS, his girlfriend (now ex) thought he had a brother who lived in Boston. I recently spoke to her, and she still thinks that!
He'd be the first to say he wished he could stop, but he can't. Even when he promises himself to be honest, he can't help telling people stories. They sound so real.

Can anyone could tell me anything helpful?

A girl I know is not eating enough! She hasn't eaten enough in 2 weeks to make 1 normal meal. Plus she works out for 3 hrs. everyday. She's not fat at all, but she thinks she is. I'm wondering if she's anorexic and what I should do about it. She won't talk to anyone about it except me, so I'm kinda freaked out. She's my best friend, and I can't let her die!!

Two years of marriage and I am trying to find a way out/ to end it without feeling as guilty. No kids in play. I feel guilty enought thinking and talking about it. I can only imagine how guilty I will feel if I follow threw it. We have brought it up in many arguments before, and I have said I want a divorce but my guilt prevents me from following threw and we end things as we will continue to try. I am sick of trying to feel somthing I should feel, but don't. I am sick of feeling like it will distroy this person if I follow threw it.
