you could take the blue line to the red line to the commutter train or amtrak to orange.

Not directly. I think you have to take the Blue Line to the Red Line. Red Line to Union Station and MetroLink to to Orange. There isn't any direct train.

You could also take the Blue Line to the Green Line. Green Line to Norwalk. Bus to Norwalk Metro Link Station and MetroLink to Orange.

From LB You would have to take the Metro Blue Line to the Metro Red Line to Union Station. From there take Metrolink to Anaheim. From there take a bus to Orange.

nope sorry no train but there is direct bus service from
Cal State to Orange, from the Long beach transit mall
(or anywhere along 7th streets of Atlatnic, you can board
a Long transit bus (90,91,92, 93 or ZAP or OCTA 60

all will take to
7th/Channel where you will transfer to OCTA 50 that bus
will take to the city of orange.
