I know that the Pulitzer Prize is one of the more famous of these awards, but what other awards of the same type are just as prestigeous and noteworthy to win?

I know there are the Coretta Scott King award and the caldecott, but there are many more out there.

I know of several noteworthy awards presented for Science Fiction and Fantasy; the most prominent would be the (so-called) Science Fiction Triple Crown - the Hugo, the Nebula, and the Philip K. Dick Awards. FYI: Only one book to date has ever received all three - "Neuromancer" by William Gibson
