My friend was in a bad car accident while on the job and later that month he recieved a letter stating that he was terminated the day prior to the accident with no reason for termination stated in the letter. What recourse does he have?

I have a crowntial female betta who has not been able to swim properly for some time now. When I look at her it looks as if her neck has been damaged. Her head is angled down so that it looks as if there is a point like a T.P where her neck meets her body. I have no idea how it got this way but it has.

Just a couple days ago she stopped swimming altogether. Just swimming to the surface for a breath of air seems like a great struggle for her...she also seems to be having problems breathing as well. I've tried putting her into a community take with a filter, air pump, live plants and a heater. Yet she did not respond to it. She was in a breeder net at the time so the other fish were not able to pick at her like they usually do. Her coloring is blah when it used to be beautiful. She can hardly eat as well. I'm tired of watching her suffer and feel that it is time to go ahead and end her misery. Yet I don't want to hurt her in the process. I just want it to be quick and painless.

since I was a little girl I've been told NOT to fart, blow my nose etc in front of someone else... but I'm getting older (27) and now I'm dealing with gastritis and i feel like my stomach is a bomb for all the gas I have inside so whenever I have the chance to fart (trust me, it barely happens) I have to take advantage of it! I got a super mega infection last friday for eating pizza and I ended up in the hospital ok? my doctor gave me like 4 different kind of medicine for my problem and yesterday I couldnt stop farting and the doctor told me It was totally ok and that i had to release all the gas but even though I explained my bf (we've been living together for 5 years) that I had no control over it and EVEN THOUGH he said it was ok with him, I feel so bad for farting in front of him, a) because I'm a girl and b) because i was told not to do it in front of anyone!

should I feel so ashamed about it? do you think he will find me gross?

In the last scene of "Being There," Peter Sellers - Chauncy Gardiner - Chance the gardener - walks on water. He walks onto a pond, stops, attempts to measure depth with his umbrella.

What was the director / playwright getting at?

Was the director / playwright indicating -

- Chauncy wasn't told he couldn't walk on water, so he did?

- Chauncy, with no documented birth, was a "type" of Jesus Christ (showing one or more but not all salient characteristics of Jesus)?

- all the events of the movie were a farce, really could not have happened, the joke is on the movie-viewer - since apart from Jesus no one can walk on water?

- or what?

This is not a question for the faint of thought. Again, if answering, please provide an authoritative source (a tactically wise thing to do if you want to get best answer of any set of answers).

Ever get tired of hearing the same old complaint everyday everyday from your spouse about thier job, aching back, etc etc; and then deal with thier blah attitude and depression. Beg them to seek help but they won't. Just how much are you suppose to take of this. Love them, but let's face it, it really really gets old. When is enough enough?

Just wondering...this happenned to me a month ago going through the Bensalem tolls of the Pennsylvania Turnpike. It was an unmarked EZ Pass lane. Wound up in a really stupid argument with an employee there over it too when I tried to pull over into the plaza office to pay it.

I was out playing ball with my two sons 12 and 10years old. My oldest son who has ADHD and some other issues.My oldest son attacted me, and my boyfriend and younger son tried to get him off of me, when he did let go he was screaming and yelling like he was being killed. Well the nosy neighbor called the cops and is telling the other neighbors that I was letting my boyfriend hit my son,which he was not doing.I tried to let this go but it keeps comming up. I want to write her a letter but she'd probaly take it as a threat and go tell the cops.Her calling the cops is not an issue it's that she is slandering me and my boyfriend.My one neighbor said that I can sue her for slander but I don't want to sue anybody, I just want it to stop. Please help
