One obvious one is Pete Wentz, of course.

I know there are a few others, but I think it's because the basist might stand out, for example, Pete Wentz is the one who writes the songs, and is the one who looks the best, and the one who answers the most questions at interviews I guess.

The thing I've always found about the best bassists is that you don't really notice them most of the time. They are the back bone of any group. They actually lay down the rhythm of the song. Unless they are doing some kind of solo or a really heavy bass line you should actually have a relatively hard time picking out their part of the song. When the drummer and the bass are in synch that is a great team. Its really essential when there is only one guitar in the group.

the lead singers are the ones that get the people 2 buy the music, if they weren't good, no one would buy the cds. that is probably y everyone likes the singers. patrick is more camera shy than pete, so pete makes all the headlines for FOB

yeah, thats totallly weird. i noticed when i first heard that pete wentz was the laeder of FOB. That's really strange. I think its usually the lead singer because they write the songs? i dunno. sometimes bands write the songs together.
