If someone has chosen to fully surrender to God, and do all things for God's glory, as they begin to receive more strength and grace from God to overcome fleshly desires or addictions, what would it mean if they suddenly dreamed of Colossians 2:23(a scripture they weren't previously familiar with) the same day they were able to resist a temptation after much prayer and worship to God(that they they were not able to resist before)?

I know that God can speak to us through dreams, but does Satan have this ability as well? Could this be a reminder from God, or a form of accusation from the Devil to make one doubt they are truly overcoming these things through the power of Christ? Thanks

Colossians 2:23 says: Such regulations indeed have an appearance of wisdom, with their self-imposed worship, their false humility and their harsh treatment of the body, but they lack any value in restraining sensual indulgence.

It seems it's got it's good points in that it encourages people to be more green and less racist, sectarian, discriminatory etc., by not talking about or publicly disagreeing with certain subjects.

However, it doesn't make it go away it just stifles debate on the subject. It is effectively censorship by manipulation. It's putting a lid on things rather than making them go away.

Somethng happen to me, a while ago and I have turned into a nice girl, I use to be the bad girl. But, I take all this crap from all of my siblings, I usually take it, but I'm sick of doing what they say, I usually do it and smile. Thinking that what comes around, goes around you will get your day too. Whenever they don't want to do something they literaly make me and when I don't want to do something, I have no choice. When I stand up for myself, I feel bad and notminate myself too do it, but I don't want too. I'm sick of being the nice girl, I can feel the bad girl coming back!

Ov'r the years she never attempted to call or write me, as she was a teenager she never had a boyfriend drive her to me. All along she knew where i lived, all along the mother and new guy prevented anything I sent from getting to daughter. 1 day she shows up at my door when she is 18 yo and wants to establish a relationship with me, and has boyfriend with. Ov'r the three years she never sends me anything on holidays, rarely came around, and very sparingly called(no holiday call). This year she was preg and only came here one time during the preg(at 3 mos we were told of preg). I bought many items for baby, daughter never came here to pick up, and knew of this repeatedly since Aug. She had the baby one wk B4 Xmas, and i haven't heard frm them since. I feel it is long enough this torch has been glowing. It is truly time I close this chapter of my life, since she obviously wants nothing to do w me, I should end it 4good..yes she from prior marriage. Should I end it 4 Good &go own ways?

I have been taking pronotix for five weeks now for acid reflux. It worked great until the other day. Now I have a upset stomach again (but not as bad as before). I started with prilosec but that didn't work until I went to pronotix.
I ate something I should not have the other day and have been having problems ever since. Has anyone had this problem? Will it start to work again?

K im usually gone with friends or on the computer bc i dnt wanna be around my mom and dad half of the time we dont get along and most of the time i jst dont wanna be around them or my lil brother.
