I'm 13, my mom was on a trip and my grandma took care of me. I did what I shouldn't, joined a bad crowd, did wrong stuff. When mom came back she grounded me. She got to know I also disrespected one of her rules I have to dress with modesty and I always wear a bra. I disobeyed, when she was out I didn't wear a bra cause I don't like. I was disrespectful and she gave me another punishment. Till Feb 10 I have to wear a shapewear, that is, that piece of underwear tha covers all of your torso and clips at your crotch and has straps over the shoulders. They cover a lot of my breasts and are made of very thick tissue, makes me sweat a lot. Kinda uncomfortable, but I have too keep it on all day long, except to bed. I hate that thing but mom is being strict. I'm not totally grounded, she allows me some fun, I can play tennis but wearing shapewear Shes treating me with love, but doesnt back off She said Hun,you disobeyed, now be patient, you'll wear your shapewear I HATE IT!!! And it's hot here

I have a friend that I've talked to for some time over msn. He lives in a separate state to me, so we're restricted to talking on here. in the past few months, he's been having a rough time of things, his Dad left home and his life at home is sufferring because of it. His best and only friend at school recently died of cancer, and I he's still grieving deeply over that. Lately I've noticed he's been acting listeless and depressed while I talk to him. He is having trouble at school and at home, and he feels like he has no one apart from me to turn to. I've suggested as many ways he could improve his life as I could, such as talking with his mother, moving schools, trying to work things out with all of the friends he has lost this year, but all of his attempts failed. he is now talking quite often about suicide, and I know he has started slitting his wrists. I don't know how I can help him, as I know no one that he knows, and he won't tell me a thing!

Next year my boyfriend and I will get marry and i know things will work right between us. Im just 20 years old and hes 23.... and i will continue my studies in the states for when i get there. we don't want kids by now till im done from college. hes working hard and earning good money so we can have a goodlife together. he got the apartment for us too(hes still livin @ his house) .Some of my relatives are like saying im too young to get marry, and all that. Yesterday, my brother's gf who lives in the states... wow... she is here in the DR and really got me scared cuz she told me soo bad thing such as irish men likes to beat her woman (my bf have irish heritage), and that they are cheap, that they dont allow her wife to be independient but for him only (such as they dont allow them to study; just attent at them, etc). now im kind of confused cuz those girls (my brother's gf ad her cousin) put things on my mind, at that point, that im super scared of going the states. what can i do now?

Im 17. For the last 2 years, i have been constantly up and down with my emotions. From just feeling sad to worthless. My mum died when i was 12. I never really mourned her death at all, but never relate it to my mood swings, cos its the last thing on my mind. Im not unstable, and most people see me as a happy person. Im always there to help my friends. I have many friends that are always there for me, but i always feel guilty. I used to cut, just small things. It was always when i was in a group of people, i just went off and did it. I always have a mood swing when im in a group of people. I have not been on medication at all, and my parents dont know that this is how i feel sometimes. I dont like getting attention in a sense, and i dont want people to have to act differently aorund me, i feel like i have control but it just seems to be getting worse...i just feel like i need somene else opinion on this situtuation...

Hi all

I have just bought a laptop with built in wireless card and am trying to connect it to my Netgear wireless router. Previously i had used the router with the usb dongle on my old laptop which worked fine. The laptop picks up the wirless network but when trying to connect it cannot acquire a network address. i have checked and double checked the WEP encrytion and its exactly the same on both PC's

I just bought a used car on wednesday. Everything was working fine until i was driving last night and I lost control of the car and started swerving. My friend and I thought it was a flat tire, but it appears to be the upper ball joint broke. The entire tire is tilted and needs to be repaired.
It only appears to be the front left tire affected, along with the brake for that tire of course. Has this happened to anyone or does anyone know if repairs for this will be expensive... like above $300?
Also is it going to be a long process to fix this?
