Hi all

I have just bought a laptop with built in wireless card and am trying to connect it to my Netgear wireless router. Previously i had used the router with the usb dongle on my old laptop which worked fine. The laptop picks up the wirless network but when trying to connect it cannot acquire a network address. i have checked and double checked the WEP encrytion and its exactly the same on both PC's

Help!!

First uplug the powercable from the cable modem and then unscrew the co-axial cable(i.e. comcast cable) from the modem, the unplug the power cable from the modem. Waite for a minute the first reconnect the coaxial cable and then power on the modem once all the light are green then turn on the router. If your computer is already connected to the network just restart to connect to the internet. If not scan for the network you will be able to find the name netgear or the name which you assigned to the network connect to that network.
