I don't really understood that whole thing but I think you should just connect your iPod into your computer then open up iTunes and go to your library (or your computer might automatically do that when your iPod is connected) then try to delete the music from there. I hope this helps in some way.

Dude, just do the following-
1. Connect your ipod to the computer and open up your ipods library.
2. Click on that song that you dont want. Once that is done the song will get highlighted in blue. Press delete.
3. Say yes to the deletion panel that will come up.
4. Now the song is deleted.

When you say taken off of iTunes, do you mean you deleted it from your library (on your computer)?
If the option to manually select and move music is on (as opposed to auto synchronization of playlists/PC-library), then deleting from the iTunes library isn't going to help. You have to view the iPod music in iTunes (connect your iPod, and it should show in the left playlist bar) and take off the songs you don't want.

Ok. since you have deleted the music off ur iPod, just hook ur iPod up to the comp. and it shoudl update itself. If not, you know when you hook it up to the computer and on the iTunes program it shows a little icon to let u know that ur iPod is hooked up. to the left of the window it says..... example>>>(John's iPod) with a little iPod next to it..... right click that and click sync and that should do it.

First connect your ipod to the computer and open Itunes.

My daughter, she's nine, has an iPod Nano 1gb...lost the book and it got locked. I have no idea how to get this unlocked. Now the battery has gone dead, too, because it was stuck on the lock screen.
Thanks
