I say go for it, if her new baby doesn't bother you, and the fact that she's a Mom now. I think you're reading too much into the "Hun" thing, but you never know. What could it hurt to have a meal with her? Might be fun!! 15 years is NOT a problem, as long as she's over 18.

What is the story with the father of the child? Was she in love and he left her? Or is she just a sl*t?

I would chase after a girl that had no kids (unless she was a widow or divorced - those are different circumstances).

Calling you hun doesn't mean anything. I have a female friend that calls all her friends "hun".

Maybe you can get to know her and see what kind of person she is, then decide for yourself.

Dinner and conversation is a good way to figure out what is going on. From an "older" female perspective she may be looking for a way out of the situation she is in. Are you ready to be a daddy to two kids? Sorry but I call people hon all the time and all it means is I like you as a friend. As for the answer to your dinner invite it might just mean she wants a free meal.

My mom and stepdad were 15 yrs apart, and they had a very long lasting relationship, until my mom passed away, and he was the best stepdad I have ever known...He took in 3 children, and had 3 of his own from a previous marriage, and then they had 2 together... Little more than the Brady Bunch, but it was a life I'd never trade for anything. You could make the difference in that child's life and hers, and yours... Go see if it is right 4 u... Best wishes

By chance, is she from Baltimore? Because calling people "Hun" is very much a part of the local dialect here. It does not mean anything special--in other words, it doesn't necessarily mean that she likes you as more than a friend.

Age is just a number and if you start something with her--dinner is definetly a good place to start. Be friends first and see what develops--good luck--Hun!

Wow. Hard question without knowing all the details. But the word itself may not mean anything. I would only suggest you proceed carefully. This is a big age gap and you may be acting out of lonliness. Think it over. Keep it light. Use your common sense.

My fiancee is almost 15 years older than me and we are completely happy together. I say if you are both single, go for it. Could be the best move you ever make.
