she always denies that she is mad, and is really busy. how do I know whether she is mad or just busy?

Every month we take our pom to the vet for an allergy shot. Over the holiday weekend our Pom started crying out in pain when we would touch him. His stomach was very hard but bloated. He refused to eat and would hide in the closet. We thought he might have broken something. I took him to the vet Christmas Eve and the doctor gave him an allergy shot yet 48 hours later he was still yelping. Since then the crying in pain has started to decrease but he is still very hesitant to let us try to pick him up. Anyone else had this experience?

I'm Chinese-canadian myself, and I've read in the Chinese newspapers that said some Chinese tourists are regarded as very rude overseas. I did not agree with that personally until a few days ago, when during an outing with friends, one of my buddies told me that I was speaking too loudly. I guess that no matter how well assimilated I am in western society, I still retain most of my original cultural identity... even the bad aspects of it.

Are there any Westerners who have an opinion on the behaviour of Chinese tourists/immigrants/whatever?

Do you ever get those coworkers who always come by your office or cubicle with daily family or friend drama and you just dont want to hear it? Man! I am sick and tired of people coming to my cubicle and going on and on and on about stupid drama. I even try to make it look like what I'm doing is so important and Im too busy to even listen, I will even sit there and act like Im typing so that they would go away but they dont! aye. Ok sorry had to vent and see if anyone else feels my pain.

I have a 2 questions...

1) Why is it that if a girl is dating a older man it is unexceptable but if a guy does he is favored... like highly respected??? and i mean it may be only 3 or 4 yrs difference.

lastnight two 19 year old kids (one i knew) died in a car accident, my cousin who was 19 died a few years ago, in the summer a (kid i knew) my age died, and lastyear a girl who was 19 died and i knew her! why kids? it's soooooo sad i know God has his reasons...life is so hard...i knew all these ppl....and they just died like that!

We hear all of the time about murderers, rapists, serial killers etc. who come from bad and abusive childhoods, yet there are many adults who become successful, or at least not criminals who came from equally abusive childhoods. What makes the difference? Hearing that a murderer should have lienency because they had an abusive childhood when other adults have overcome such an enviornment, is puzzling as to the cause of the murderers choices to be in the position where they are now.
