Why so mutch enlargement in EU. What the reason

This is a very good question. I live in EU country, and it doesn't look this beautiful as it should. Some groups of people are becoming more poor then they were before. I know that France and Italy are not happy about Euro. Prices went higher, but salary are still on the same level. People from poor countries are moving to England, Ireland - it makes a big national mess.My opinion is that someone or a group of people have a big interest on this matter.

What do you mean by enlargement? Do you mean why so many countries join the EU? The want to very much, the EU sometimes agrees, sometimes delays the joining and sometimes refuses (like Turkey).
