The game is a major difference from regular TV, but the blu ray isn't really a difference from a DVD. My TV is in 1080i.

Part of it is personal perception--you might notice more of a difference if you made a direct comparison.

That being said, I don't think that Talladega Nights was a good showcase of Blu-Ray's picture capabilities. Different titles have different transfers and technologies behind them, and I just wasn't impressed with Talladega Nights' transfer. You might want to buy or rent some of what high-def enthusiasts consider the real "showcase" titles for Blu-Ray, like Tim Burton's Corpse Bride, Black Hawk Down, Kingdom of Heaven, or even Adam Sandler's Click. You might even try downloading the trailers for some of these titles from the Playstation store; I thought the Black Hawk Down trailer, for one, was very impressive and demonstrative of high definition technology.
