I'm planning on opening my own art studio/art school with two friend of mine. We have gone to school for art and two of us have teaching experience already. I'm just wondering if anyone can give me any advice whatsoever. You're time is greatly appreciated.

Many Christians and Muslims, when confronted with an atheist, will tell the atheist, "You just have to believe..."

I used to believe, with all my heart. I was a born again, convicted, saved sealed & delivered Christian. I never set out to be an atheist, I never desired to be an atheist. I simply followed the evidence where it lead me. This is the nature of belief -- belief is those things we hold as true based on our experiences.

So what I want to know is -- if my experiences do not support the deific conclusion, how exactly do I trick myself into believing?

Please don't say, "Pray with a sincere heart and he'll reveal himself to you..." Been there, done that. There's apparently more to it than that.

well why would it say that when the earth is been proven to be 5 billion years old, how can religions still be when its been proven wrong, one of the more major facts of how we are here is wrong!? and i know your going to tel me that science is not always right but tell me this science can say that if i mix gas with sparks i will get a fire/explosion right? or we know that if we go into space with no space suit or helmet we will freeze and suffocate right? so science isnt always wrong we test things before stating it as a fact, so how can people still believe in creation? and dont say you cant believe everything you read or else your stupid because you read the bible and read that, and that has no scientifical evidence to support it. so tell me what u think of that?

I live in the southern part of the U.S. and I have about a year and a half before I finish nursing school. My boyfriend and I plan to get married pretty soon after I get out of school. He lives with his parents right now, as do I, but all of his extended family live in Illinois, and His sister lives in Georgia. After we are married he wants to move somewhere far away, he even mentioned Maine, and I really don't like that. I love my family although they work my nerves every now and then, but who's doesn't at times? All of my family lives in the same county and has for almost all their lives. His family, I guess, is used to moving away from each other. I don't know what to do.

Working at a hospital, I won't have very many days off at a time, so I won't get to see my family very often. So, what would you do? Maybe it is normal for someone to move far far away from home after being married, and I'm just a traditional southern girl. I just don't know...

I have a 3 HP 15 Gallon Craftsman Air Compressor that I bought used. It is electric and supposedly "oil-free". When I plug it in and switch it on everything appears to work normally however the regulated side of the compressor will only go up to about 23-25 PSI and the tank guage will only go up to about 20-22 PSI. I have checked the drain valve and other areas where connections are made and can't find any leaks from the tank or regulator. Furthermore the motor never cuts off - it will run forever if I let it. I even let it run for 15-20 minutes straight and once the guages got up to the above readings, they stopped and the motor kept running. Is the compressor or other part of the motor just shot or am I overlooking something here?

I got a haircut recenty becus my hair is naturally curly and kinda thick..it was too much to deal with every morning so I got a haircut. All my friends agreed that it was the best thing to do..but I'm not sure. Before it was down my back I got it cut to my shoulders, but becus my hair is curly..it bounces up, and looks kinda ugly. But I couldn't help it! I had split ends before and it looks healthier now..but everyone keeps saying, "Oh its soo cute" or "Its adorable!" BUT thats not exactally the look I was going for. "Cute" is kiddish, I wanted "Hott". Any suggestions how to make it look less blah? It's tame, but boring...what could I do to spice it up? It doesn't even all fit in a ponytail! Help please?!

I was answering a question earlier and it made me want the opinion of others.
Is there a time when murder or severe injury is acceptable?
Some would say "Murder is Murder," but is it acceptable to kill or severely injure someone that is hurting you? or your loved one? Maybe your child?
A few examples:
A robber comes in and has a gun on your husband or hits him hard with an object...
Someone is raping your daughter...
Choking your son...
The list can go on....your loved one is defenseless, you have a chance to bring them down....do you? What if you hit them/shoot them and they die? Is it acceptable because you were in defense of your loved one?

I have been married for the last 4 years, been with him for the las 9 years, since I was 18, we have to beautiful boys together...but if I 'm honest the problem was going on when we first started dating, when we fight or argue he goes straight to my heart, tells me I'm crazy, that I'm lazy and a terrible person. That I can't care for my kids and repeatedly makes remarks about my weight. I know that I have gain weight since we first met, but I've had to children, I work full time, teaching in an alt. ed program and spend every moment of my free time caring for my boys and taking care of the house. I get frustrated, my husband hasn't held a job down for more than a week in the last two years. I am always feeling obligated to make him happy, to put on a show, when family is around. We are not happy, it's a front...or at least I'm not happy which he blames on me, nothing ever makes me happy. What do I do now! HELP PLEASE!
