Seems like I have the sexual side of things going in the right direction, however, I am more interested in general behavior.

Don't do everything together...have seperate interests so you have something to talk about.
I know I'm a woman and you wanted gentlemen but I have been married 25 years and thought I might have some idea how to be a decent wife.
I try very hard to support his decisions, he shows me a great deal of room to make decisions though too. Always greet each other or tell each other good bye. Men don't need a lot it seems but if a woman doesn't feel the personal attachment it will make her unsure and that spells trouble for you. A smart man stays out of that kind of trouble.
A hand written card, gift certificate to her favorite hang out (coffee or bookstore, etc)
Women will always respond in wonderful ways like cooking, cleaning, doing laundry and oh yes affectionately if they feel they are valued in the relationship.
Since that isn't the natural thing for men this may seem like you are making the effort here but try my advise and see if you aren't the one who really gets the reward!!!!
By the way lingerie is really a gift for you...it doesn't have the effect you may be looking for. If you do the above she will go buy something she knows will make you happy herself and feel she is giving a gift to you of her own account.

1. Be a sweet nice person that makes a man feel special by giving affection often.
2. Be sexy often and desire sex often, and dress fro sex, for me RHT stockings , garterbelt and heels do it.
3. Be a clean, neat and tidy men don't like sloppy women
4. show that you can or have the ability to be a good wife by cooking and can keep clean home.
5. Be creative in every sense and don't fall into a too familiar routine unless he desires routine
6. Show love and you'll get love
