Who exactly is a British person? Do you have to be "white" to be British or do you have to be born in the UK to be British? Can you be a practising Jew/Muslim/Hindu and look different from everyone else and still be British if you fulfill all the other requirements? Does it mean you need a British passport because many people can apply for one even if they've never stepped foot over here. Do you have to celebrate Christmas to be British? Do you have to wear certain clothes? Is our cricket team really British (Monty Panesar is Indian, Kevin Petersen and Strauss Africans, Mahmood a Pakistani, Ed Joyce is Irish, we've had Robin Smith and Allan Lamb, M Ramprakash play for us in the past. Are these all British? What makes them if they are? If someone rejects British values are they British?

How exactly would you define "British?"

how come when 3 different parallel colors pass through the same prism, they exit parallel still?they have different wavelengths so they should exit unparallel the way as white light disperse.

everytime I feed my Goldfish one of them keeps diving to the top smacking the light fixture on top head first. she has been doing this alot and now she has a little cut on her head and she swimming very awkward. I have no trouble getting into websites like msn or yahoo or any other english websites; but when i try to get on chinese websites,
it is extremely slow,almost unbearable. This has never happened before. My other computer using the same server has the same problem.
my network connection is WAN, I don't know much about computers, but could it be like people did something to the server?
Please help me thank you.

My Mom was diagnosed w/ clinical depression several months back. She is 73 yrs old. Her common sense reasoning seems to be partially impaired - for instance, in a nursing home, after dinner, she said that she is responsible for collecting all the dirty dishes and put them into the kitchen and that she is responsible for the welfare for all the other people in the nursing home....

Does this kind of delusion related to clinical depression or this is something else ?

i adopted him from the shelter when he was 2 mths old i love him alot but he is going crazy . he i sscratchin up my leather chairs he loves water for some strange reason he jumps in the shower with me jumps im the sink knocks over the garbage can , if i leave meat to thaw out he gets up on the counter and busts it open an steals a piece of raw meat. i cant take it any more. i feel like taking him bak but my kids love him is there nething i can do to break him out of this habit?

Do i need to put the evil-eye bracelet dipped in salt water in a glass bowl for 48 hours before start i start wearing it???? Why haven't UK forced NATO to pay for the neccessary equipment that thier troops NEED - (not want you notice), given UK have supplied the bigger troop commitment to the NATO forces?

Indeed, why can't USA foot the bill to pay for much needed equipment and resources UK troops..(oh such as a flak jacket for each and every UK service personnel.. preferably, one that will stop a small arms fire..! ) left to clear up the mess made by USA withdrawing 77% of thier troops in Afghanistan in 2003 under the order of thier Commander-in -Chief, namely one George W Bush, current President of United States of America, who long before he made THAT order, had asked UK to contribute thier Nations' BEST asset - namely thier Military troops!

My boyfriend is spending a lot of time recently with this girl, sees her about 3-4 times a week and also works with her. He reassures me constantly that he only wants me and nothing is going on between them except they get on well. What's worse is that she fancys him and everyone knows this and she bought him an expensive xmas present which really annoyed me. Then they spent the whole of boxing day together which made me feel so jealous. Am I wrong to feel like this? How close is too close?
