Do i need to put the evil-eye bracelet dipped in salt water in a glass bowl for 48 hours before start i start wearing it???? My friend just got me one..and she said that she's heard its meant to be worn only after its been kept in salt water for 48 hours to decharge it of all the negativities. is it true?

If you're talking about the evil eye (nazarlik) from Turkey, I have never heard of such a thing. Ofcourse there are numerous different cultures in Turkey, but honestly, having lived there, I've never heard of this...

I also don't think you can decharge negativities from an evil eye. I've heard that you wear them so that if someone looks at you, and becomes jelous, you will not have bad luck from this....

Not sure about the bracelet itself but I did find some interesting info. on Salt water and healing. The Evil Eye is a reminder that underneath it all, we are all the same human beings, even if we think we're different.

I've never heard of this, but just make sure that it won't cause any damage to the bracelet. (If there's any metal, such as a clasp, you won't want it to corrode.)

yes,but not for 48 hrs thehrs dont matter as the eye its self already has salt in it.
