I think that's extremely ridiculous. Even a lot of Atheists think that's ridiculous. This country was built on faith in God, and without it, we wouldn't be as successful. Without God, we would have no reason to follow laws or anything. And people want us to take away "In God We Trust" just because some people have their panties all in a twist? Ridiculous. You don't even have to be religious to know how ridiculous that is. We were just discussing that in one of my classes last week. If you have a problem saying the word God in this country, then you definitely aren't proud to be an American citizen or you would know how important God was in the building of this nation, whether He be real or not....

Nope. It's always been there, the money still spends so why mess with it. Trying to remove God from everything is the main reason the world's going to hell in a handbasket!

Yeah. Many cultures shaped America. Not all of them believe in God, or have a God, or have many gods.
Also, I think that the government should also change "God Bless America" because the many cultures that are part of America today weren't all born in America.
And Also, I think that the fact of just saying America is not right, because there is also a SOUTH America, so therefore I think people should just say NORTH America.

No. Atheists are a minority. Plus, making a change just because a group of people think it is required shows weakness and I doubt that's what the government wants.

One of this nations founding doctrine's was to keep church and state seperate, but on our bills it says "in God we trust" Go figure.
To pacify Atheists would be the wrong reason, to satisfy our Constitution would be a better reason.

All the presidents we have had are white, christian, men. Variation is slim. Yes somepeople don't believe in god but most people do so it will stay "In god we trust."

No because that is how our country was founded and we should stick to what our founding father's created.
