My husband and I went out for coffee this afternoon and there was alittle boy there maybe 5 with his very drunk mother . The poor little thing was scared to death. He kept saying mummy wake up..she was slurring her words and falling asleep at the table.
The little boy got up and ran into a busy music store.His mum did not even notice. I called the security over and quickly they told me there was nothing they could do about her being drunk . I pointed out the child who I went over and spoke to .

He did NOT know his home number or where his dad worked. The police were called but this poor little boy. He told them his mum was sick ( bless the young ) she reeked of beer. The boy is safe now at least with the police. Before I left he told me "mum is sick alot " :( ....

What would you have done ? Shouldn't a child be taught an emercency number ? He did not even know where he lived

I am adopting a dog from a shelter who is being treated for heartworms. He had the first treatment and then had a very bad recation to it, so they had to wait for him to get stronger before he could have the last treatment. He should be ready by next week, but in the meantime they said I could take him home. I have 2 cats and plan to intoduce the animals in short supervised meetings very gradually, but can the dog pass the heartworms to the cats? I know typically heartworms are transmitted through mesquitos, but I am not sure if they can be passed any other way.

I have lots of books and I want to donate them, but everytime I look at my books, I want to keep them in case I have time to read them later. I know that's what a library is for, but I like actually owning the books. I guess having books makes me feel smart. Does that make sense?

had a longer story but i wouldn't fit soooo…::

my eldest cousin (who's a lesbian herself) decided to tell my mom that I was a lesbian.

For two reasons 1: because she's out and she thinks everyone else should be. And 2: because I got and ipod, helio, digital cam, etc, etc, etc.....(everything I wanted for Christmas) and she was jealous so she wanted to do something to hurt me.

Now....my mom wouldn't care, but it's just that 1, if you're not ready...you’re not f_cking ready! 2, I'm bi...not gay. And 3, I've told my mom how my friend calls me a lesbian almost every day (because I like Otep) before and I told her that i wasn't interested in girls that way.

So....now she just assumes that my cousins and friends know something she doesn’t and that I'm just a bonafide lesbian =[.

Should i be pissed?

I am currious to learn if I may have a thryroid problem. My Mother and Father both have thyroid problems, my grandmother on fathers side had one.... I mean do you really get a buz out of mocking Jesus. I have to tell you God is not mocked, infact he sits up there and laughs at all the proud. Why do you get on this site if you are not religious, do you think you many be waisting you time? Really if sitting there mocking other christians faith(at least they have some, what about you) is what you do to fill in your time, you must be one miserable person. I am not saying all non believers do that, but the ones that do, at least Christians are not hell bound. Stop mocking Jesus, Jesus has done nothing wrong to you or anyone, so what is the problem. Satan must be controlling you life to do such a thing, as Satan and his demons do not like Jesus, and why because they know there final place, and they have been defeated. STOP mocking christans, you would not like it if we mocked you all the time and telling you you are going to hell, No you would hate it. Stop mocking our creator, you would not even be here if it wasn't for God.
