The best advice i ever got was off of a friend of mine. I was going through a hard time, and she said to me 'Kayleigh everything in this world happens for a reason, no body can tell you what this reason is, only you yourself can tell you what this reason is. I know that you cannot help to think that it is totally unfair that this has happened to you, but at the end of the day it is making you a much stronger person, and you are becoming more and more confident in everything that you do. I know that at times you want to give up on life, and finish everything as you do not think that your life is worth living anymore, but if you did finish it all, yes you are getting rid of all of your problems and troubles, but what about the people who love and care about you, how are they going to feel, and most of all the person that has made you feel like this has won. Kayleigh, you are a strong young woman, no matter what your sexuality is, what colour your skin is or even what you believe in, all you have to do is to try and cope with your demons and troubles, whilst holding your head up high, and telling yourself that you are stronger for this ever happening to you.' So i owe This person everything for giving me this small bit of advice, as if it was not for her, i probably wouldn't be around typing this now

To belief in myself and to realise that I can do things and that there is no such thing as can't.

Taking this advice has helped me over the last couple of years to develop as a person and to go further in life. When i felt that i couldn't do something, i would sit and think of the advice and say i can do it and figure out how to overcome the i cant do it bit.

Save money every month in a savings account and NEVER spend it. Wise advice - try being 50 or 60 with absolutely no money in the bank. Thank heavens I listened to my gran.

Not to stress too much about GCSEs because in a few years time, people won't care about what you got for them, only what your recent job was. So long as you get good enough grades to go to college that's okay.

'Don't save things for best' because you will never get full use out of them or if it is clothing by the time you get round to wearing the item it will be out of date, or faded, or eaten by moths.
