WIll exercising during a cold shorten its duration? People always say to rest when you have a cold - how is resting helpful during a cold? Could I recover quicker if I am more active instead?

I have a boxer mix, he'll be three in Feb. Everytime he comes back in from outside he charges back in the house like he's still outside. Then when he gets on his mat he still plays around and does not listen to any of our commands. While outside playing he does not listen to our commands.
We have very fragile things in our home and he has run into them several times. How do we get our excited dog to know to calm down while in the house and listen to our commands while still excited? Thanks

Hey

I was wondering how deeply a four year college would look into your disciplinary records, and whether the school discriminates based on the records. I am applying to Cornell, Harvard, and University of Michigan, and I'm not sure if a short suspension or dismissal will hurt my chances. Thanks.

I know I'm repeating this question somewhat, but it's because I don't believe my original question will ever be answered at this point (4 days old).

This is mostly for professors on this board (I know there are some). I'm a first year math graduate student at UCLA and I have a very frustrating problem. I know the material very well in pretty much all areas, but I don't seem to test very well. It's a very irritating problem because professors seem to only be impressed by exam scores, and so all my work seems to be going to waste because it's not showing up on the inclass exams.

So I guess my question is this: Did any of you have this problem in graduate school? If so, what did you do to correct it (or did you have to)? I really need some advice on this because I don't know what else to try.

And for profs in general, what's a good way other than exams to impress you? I would think being knowledgeable is the way, but I'm afraid with how my exams go it may not be.

I've had my tattoo since November 28, 2006!!
Is it normal that is has not completely HEALED??????
I do have problems with my immune system and healing takes a while!!
But i heard the normal person heals in two weeks or less!
So is it normal for my tattoo to still be healing after a month??

I dated this girl that was a little permiscuous. I could tell she was VERY experienced when we-ahem-. Also she seemed to be proud of the fact that she sleeps around a lot.

She doesn't sleep with every guy that she comes in contact with, far from it, so don't get m wrong.

She also seemed to be very dishonest with her previous boyfriend and had a secret double life that he eventually found out about and caused them to break up.

So should I pursue anything with this girl or not? I can't help but think that she would cheat on me. She strikes me as the type.

i have a rear engine riding mower the wheels slide on the axle with a bolt on the end to keep them on . iwant to take them off but they are siezed on i haved tried heat with a propane torch and penetrating oil with no luck
