i have a rear engine riding mower the wheels slide on the axle with a bolt on the end to keep them on . iwant to take them off but they are siezed on i haved tried heat with a propane torch and penetrating oil with no luck

It sounds like just not enough "elbow grease" . The nut/bolt has to be extremely hot for that technique to work, but at the same time you will weaken the axle and if not done properly you will break that. The best option would be to try an impact wrench. A "breaker bar" would be the next option and the next option would be a "cheater bar". This can be as simple as a piece of pipe over the end of the handle of the socket wrench and gives more leverage, assuming you ae using a socket wrench. Also use a 1/2" drive instead of the standard 3/8" drive. If you have questions about any of that just ask your local hardware store.

Did you turn the bolt or nut the right way. Sometimes they have left hand threads.
