i don't have enough computer systems informations. I just know my pc has Avast antivirus progam and Spybot search&destroy. Eventhough when i download a file from a friend , my settings says "antivirus check could not finish" What should i do? Is my pc in danger? What should i do , whome i trust :(

I'm looking to purchase a gift for a dear friend. She's about 20 years old and not really in to reading. She loved the movie The Notebook, and that's why I'm thinking Nicholas Sparks. But lately I've been hearing thoughts that I should purchase White Oleander by Janet Fitch for her. I want her to get into reading, and be able to cuddle up with a book she's going to lose herself in. I'm a 21 year old male buying this book for someone very special in my life. The other book can always come at a later date, but since this is my first purchase for her in this category I want it to be special and something she will remember. Which book do you think is best suited for the occasion, and why? Thank you

I usually wash every other day...and its fine. Today I didn't and it feels greasy...although everyone is saying it looks fine. No baby powder...any other ways to fix in a pinch?

I really don't think they care, I mean they don't have the best talent in the league but they are better than three games over .500 talent and they are in the East! They can't win more than two or three in a row, then they lose two or three in a row. I think the Mike Brown experiment has been a disaster, along with the Hughes signing, and Lebron is probably p*ssed that he signed that contract extension, because mark my words, he will NEVER win a championship in this city.

I have a korg chromatic tuner I use for my electric guitar. By accident I hit the calibration button a bunch of times. I would like to restore the calibration to out of the box settings. Right now it is 443hz. Anybody know what the calibration is under factory settings> Is it 440?(Thats what the picture on the box shows)
