No kidding!!!! Where's the outrage over immoral war or redefining torture to exclude everything we do or even giving a positive declaration about what rights an 'enemy combatant' does have?! Pastors/ministers/priests can talk about whether to vote for a candidate the supports a woman's reproductive rights but not about one that invaded a country that did nothing to us?
It's insanity.

God's true believers (as you put it) stay silent on purpose.
Why?
Based on John 15:19 and John 17:14, true believers do not get involved with such things.
Regarding political matters, they are no part.
John 18:36 has Jesus saying he could get involved in a scrap or two, but purposefully refrains.
His followers, if they are indeed 'followers' should do the same, no?

No. As a believer in Jesus Christ I am against the war in Iraq and always have been. But not that you really care since you already have your preconceived notions about Christians and conservatives.

I too wonder why gay marriage is more troublesome than the death of innocents. I am afraid that true believers are being steered by those with their own agenda rather than what should be basic Christian concerns. What about the poor, the sick, the helpless?
