I'm not really Christian, but my friend "Electric" Bill Pylon is ordained minister. The main point, like any sacred text is guide to live better life. It's got rules to follow, like any religious text. The main message is one of love, peace and redemption. If you don't want to believe it, you don't have to, this is America, place of religious freedom. You can worship chicken leg if you want to. That is your right. No one has to tell you you are right or wrong as long as it doens't hurt anyone, I don't care.

The central point of the bible is demonstrate the grace of God.
The Lord has promised to bless those who keeps his laws, show kindness to others and accept his Son as the Messiah.
The book is filled with stories and examples of everyday people called to were use to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.
The bible also illustrates the curses and results of all who deny Him as Lord, his Son, his commandments and those who wish to take over or cut his land whom he gave to descendants of Abraham.
John 14:6-7
6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really knew me, you would know[b] my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him."
Matthew 10:32-33
32"Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in heaven. 33 But whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven.
Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. Matthew 10:39
Believers must keep their faith till the death.
"Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the CROWN OF LIFE." Revelation 2:10
Jesus is the ONLY REASON for the season. His blood has paid the cost of Man's sin and re-connected the bond between man and the Lord God.

The theme throughout the Bible relates to Jehovah God's Heavenly Kingdom.
- When it will be established.
- Who will be part of it.
-What role Jesus will play.
-When will it begin to rule and what will it rule over
-What blessings will it bring
These are just some of the topics the Bible answers.
Jesus himself not only came to the earth to die on behalf of all mankind. But he too preached the "good news about God's Kingdom" and what people needed to do in order to be saved.
To enjoy eternal life on a paradise earth,we need to take in accurate knowledge of the Bible, and live our lives in harmony with God's righteous standards. We also need to talk to others about our faith. There are many many blessings to be had.But first you need to study the Bible with Jehovah's Witnesses. They have a accurate and thorough understanding of the Holy Scpitures and would be only too happy to conduct a free home bible study with you.

I think this is the main point of Jesus' ministry.
Matthew 5
The Beatitudes
1Now when he saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him, 2and he began to teach them saying:
3"Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
5Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth.
6Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled.
7Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
8Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they will see God.
9Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called sons of God.
10Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11"Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
