In the NT we have story of Saul. A man totally opposed to Jesus and Christians, who even actively persecuted them. There is no indication from scripture that he was pondering their philosophy, or that he had any sympathy for them. He was just out to get them.

Then Jesus sends him a slap-in-the-face vision with a bright light and a booming voice that esentially tells Saul to do a 180. With such an obvious show of power and authority, Saul decides it's best to change his name to Paul and become the champion of Christianity.

So here's my question: What makes him so special? Why does he get such an obvious and blatant "wake up call" when the rest of us are expected to fully believe the message of Christianity with no more than "a whisper of the Holy Spirit in our hearts." If Christians are to be believed, and there is a god up there that personally cares about each of our salvation's, then wouldn't it be much more effective to give us all a mighty vision of his majesty?

Well, I have not had sex for about a year, until (December 20th). It was unprotected.

I heard that if you were to become pregnant, it usuall takes 2 to 3 weeks for the egg to implant in the uterus.

Well, if my egg was already near the uterus at the time of sex, could the implanting be occurring now?

I really want a baby, and I hope I am pregnant.

I was just wondering if this were possible, or if it is to soon to tell anything.

Last night i fed my puppy the usual amount i always do,she got into a little bit of the older dogs food then she became bloated but not to badly. I woke up this morning and there was vomit and poo everywhere. Just wondering what this could be..She is still active, she doesnt seem to be weak at all... Parvo? She has already had one set of her parvo shots, tomarrow she goes in for her 2nd set...The vomit was orange almost like her food, i feed her purina puppy chow...any ideas ...

Ali was good, worthry of being in the boxing hall of fame, but not the Greatest of all time!!! I'm so sick of hearing that he was so great. I've watched all his fights he wasn't that great! Half the people he fought looked like uncoordinated retards. The heavyweight division was weak in his prime during the 60's. Aside from Liston and an aging Floyd Patterson. Joe Louis was a greater heavy weight than Ali. The thing that made Ali great to so many people is the fact that he was huge into the civil rights movement which was a HUGE issue back then. That's what made him such a champion for everyone struggling for civil rights. People superimposed this onto his boxing career which gave them a biased opinion of him. Yea sure he won the title 3 times. Holyfield won it more than that, does that make him the greatest now???? A lot of fighters could win the title 3 times if they stay in the game long enough.

Touchy subject here. I work in an office and share my space with a woman who has gas problems. Silent but deadly most of the time. Sometimes she has noisy flatulence and just says "Ooh!" This is a relatively young woman in her 40's. She's a larger woman so I thought maybe that could have something to do with it. My problem is that we have people pass through our office all day and it smells so bad in here it 's embarrassing! Not to mention torture on me, especially since I'm four months pregnant. When she toots out loud I just act like I don't hear it. I have mentioned on occasion in the last few weeks that since I have quit smoking and now pregnant my smelling senses have heightened. I thought she might get the hint. No such luck. How do you say something like "Buy some !@#$ gas-X please!" nicely?

I have an old english shep dog, he´s about 9 years old and he has always been an anxious dog, but now with the holidays it get´s worst because he´s just terrified of fireworks and when they start he begins shaking and get´s really nervouss, he won´t eat while he´s nervous so what can I do to calm him down?
