Hmm..it must be tough to have a birthday that falls right around now with all the present stress!!!
How about celebrating 1/2 birthday in 6 months? Then you can go to the beach!

Tell them how devalued it makes you feel that they don't care enough to remember your Birthday. Remind them that it is important to you, There are some people who Don't want to have their birthday remembered so be sure that they understand. Then wait and see if they remember next year. If they don't ditch them and get new friends who will care about you and a different boy friend, you certainly don't want to waste a lot of time on a relationship that is only going to cause you frustration. If he doesn't think it is important as your boyfriend he certainly won't remember it as your husband.

Stop selecting people based on looks and start selecting them based on the content of their character. The good people would remember your birthday. These snobs and popular people would not. Because you are just another pretty girl. They use, they do not care. And if you are honest with yourself, you probably use them too. So the better thing to do is to change your ways and be a virtuous, decent citizen. Then you can have wonderful, thoughtful, intelligent friends.

Just one of the many disappointments concerning people you will be facing in years to come . 'HOW ' you handle that now and how you take care of it tells a lot about you personally . If it bothers you to the point that you have to write to this board here I would say tell them to buzz off. They don't care much about you and are not concerned about your feelings . Later on when you are in a solid steady relationship I hope your partner of choice is a caring loving person . Yes, some dates will be forgotten but when folks are busy with job and family it will happen . But not now, you are too young with not much to sidetrack the people who are supposed to be close .
If you still keep them all around, ignore their important days and don't let it bother 'ya .

Some people don't consider birthdays to be a big deal. Try telling your friends and boyfriend that you do, and they may react differently next time it rolls around.

Honestly??
I would ask them for starters if they would like a cake and or presents on their birthday.
I would let them know that it really is important for you to celebrate your birthday.
You might even help in the initial planning of the event to get things started on the right foot.
