Hi there yet again Kristin...do you mean dumbest pet? It's really depends on people's perception. Some think it's the cat or a fish. However, both are intelligent in their own ways as many other species which are perceived as intelligible. It's all about understanding the species in it's natural environment. Once it's understood nearly any animal can be taught behaviours that people didn't know was possible. For example, cats can learn command behaviours just like dogs such as sit, lay down, wave, high-five, roll over and more, which both my house cats can do and so much more including using the human toilet. Fish also are intelligent as well. Here are some videos of goldfish pushing a football and soccer ball to the end goals and going through a hoop: http://www.fish-school.com/gallery.htm
