i mean besides the companies not wanting us to why can't i just wait till a movie comes out on tv then push a record button and then it records the show to memory then burns it to dvd if not directly to the dvd what would it take to rig something up to do this

i'm 15 years old.... my dad is in the military, so that means we move...a lot! i'm in love with this girl... she's in love with me... (this is not some kind of teenage love, this is TRUE love) well... i'm leaving Jan.27 and we both want to be alone before we leave...but we don't know how. both of our parents always look at us, watching our every move. We don't want sex!!!! we just want to be alone!!! maybe kissing or holding her.... i just need to be alone with the girl i love before i leave!! =(

I don't speak either language, but I've heard that "Lei hou ma" literally means "You good ???" in Cantonese, and that "Lei" also means "You" in Italian. If so, is this just a coincidence?

Nearly everywhere I go on the Internet, I hear people complain about British politics or the politics of their home nation.
That is their right, their freedom and I am not going to attack that. Never.
However, that is what most people just do. Complain. Some complaints are so vicious I find myself thinking "why bother?"
If some of these people are so fed-up, why are they sitting at home doing nothing?
Democracy gives them a chance to vote in and vote out governments. If people actually voted and took time to look behind the smoke-screen then half the problems would just go.
Democracy allows people to organise their own political parties, get elected either on a national or local level and actually changes things for the better.
So, my question to everyone, both complainers and non-complainers:

If you're really that fed-up and annoyed with how things are where you live, why do you not do something about it and either vote or get yourselves elected and do things properly?

Lets say a group of older teenagers bullied a younger child into doing something dangerous. Lets say he died (but that was not their intention) and one of them (lets call him Fred) tried to save him but was to late. If they where put to court, what is the most likely thing they would get charged with? Would Fred get off any easier or would he be charged the same as his friends?
