Tower of London will be my 1st choice then River cruise and if you got time to spare then London Eye (long queue though) but like those people that answered this question b4 me, there're loads to do in London. There's a London tour bus that you can buy 24 hours ticket which enable you to get on and off wherever you want and as many times as you wish, not a bad deal either. .

My suggestion for a widely used visit may be Westminster Abbey (extremely bypass in for a fabulous hour or so), the London Eye with its stunning perspectives, take a deliver variety the docks good on the interest to the Tower of London (do not ignore about to do between the Beefeater excursions that are free with admission- they are informative besides as a superb kind of exciting! you're waiting to do all this in a unmarried million day. The London shipping Museum, the British Museum, the Tate.... there are a superb kind of large museums, seem at what you're optimal drawn to and visit a pair. Buckingham palace may be walked to from the area of the Abbey- that's basically around the Thames from the interest. do not waste time or money on Madame Tussauds or the London Dungeon. Taking an afternoon holiday on a double decker bus may be exciting as you receives on and stale all day for one fare (on the day holiday busses- not the city ones) yet we used public transportation and characteristic been efficient with that. very last be wakeful- kit deal up- that's gonna be chilly in February!!!! My daughter and 5 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous grandson went over Thanksgiving for some days ( we had all lengthy gone in ought to/June yet they wwanted to move decrease back!) and they have were given been truly chilly then even! Have a fine looking time!!!!

There is SO much to do in Central London, it might be wise to pick a few things in the same general area. A single day Tube pass for Zone One might be helpful. I would recommend St. Paul's Cathedral then walking over the Millennium Foot Bridge to the Tate Modern. You could also tour the Tower of London and take the tour of the Tower Bridge. For a few pounds you can walk across the top walkways and see the engine room that controls the bridge. What ever you pick, you will have a great day in London. Have fun!!

Central London offers so much! Knightsbridge has plenty in a compact area: Harrods, the Victoria & Albert Museum, Natural History Museum, Brompton Oratory are all along the Old Brompton road and within walking distance of each other. There are several small shops, cafes, restaurants in the area as well.

Tate modern is good. Nice Cafe and 4 big slides to have a go on. There is so much to do in London that it is difficult to pick any one thing out. There is the London Eye but you usually have to queue for about half an hour.

For only one day I would suggest a good old-fashioned open topped bus tour where you can hop on and off at any of the sights that take your fancy. Also take the tube/DLR to Greenwich, see the Cutty Sark, and then go back to Westminster on a river trip.
It'll be a busy day but one you'll never forget.

Go to Westminster Bridge and take a Water tour. This is excellent value to get a "quick" tour of the city.
