This isn't a racist comment. Just an observation. Why is it that the sport of boxing has been dominated by minorities for decades. Mainly Hispanics and Blacks. Yet a large about of the films are about real boxers from decades ago or fictitious ones are white? It doesn't seem fair to me. the Rocky films,Cinderella Man,Million dollar baby, and the list goes on. Yet only Black boxer film was Ali from 2001.
So I ask why? with all of the real boxers in the world today. Do we center on the ones for decades ago or make them up. Is it because the hasn't been a White American heavyweight champ since the mid 50's
Why does Rocky continue to beat up Black boxers for the Heavyweight championship. (he's only fights whites when the championship isn't at risk) In the world of Hollywood black boxers are villains, black promoters are vile, and black trainers are only good when they are training a white boxer.
I know these are statements are unpopular and the most part ignored. but someone has to ask
