It's a long story and I don't need to be judged, but I have not spoken to my mother for over 3 years. After years of tolerating her emotional abuse, for the sake of my mental health, I had to stop contacting her. She moved to another country anyway and has no interest in her children or 10 grandkids.

This morning I received a Christmas card from her - aplogising and asking me to forgive her. Unfortunately I know, she still has the capacity to be abusive and I don't have the stamina (or support) to cope with it.

I realise many people have had a loving mother who cared for them and nurtured them - I didn't - so please don't say "She's your mother and because of that you have a duty etc." If a person was in an abusive relationship with a partner - you would urge them to stay away!

She's hurt me so much and while I could forgive her - I don't want her back in my life - so - what would be the best thing to do?

Honestly, tell me how many of you understand Vande mataram or Jana gana mana adhinayak...On the other hand, "Sarey Jahan se Accha, hindustan hamara" is well understood by everyone..Nehru was actually in favor of making it our national anthem, but sardar patel and the likes of him interfered...(just because the poet who wrote this was a Muslim)....

When Rakesh Sharma went into space, Indira Gandhi had asked him :
"How does our India look like from up there"?..to which Rakesh replied: "Sare Jahan se accha, hindustan hamara"...

just before leaving the restarant i went back to where the waitress's hang out and asked one of the other girls about the one named Concetta, unfortunately she had already went home so i asked one of the girls to give her my number to call me,,,i never thought i would hear from her but she text me this morning and said she is curious as to who i am i text her back and asked if i could call her sometime she hasn't text back yet but i told her that i thought she was gorgeous and that i wanted to get to know her and maybe be goodfriends,,,do you think she will text me back and if not would i be out of order if i call her without permission,,,she obviously didn't mind that i have her number now but how should i play this coz she is gorgeous?

I really don't care. I'm broke and nobody listens to me. But it seems that the majority of the people hate his as. Why is he still in office? Forget the term- send his as over with Suddam!
