i'm trying to write a sonnet, and have a great back story, but i need it to be based on an actual life as part of the assignment. (shrug). I kind of want a name of a real historical figure who everyone thought was not going to succeed (due to his dubious male pro background) but was able to turn his life around and become someone famous and worth knowing.

Already tried to google search this but all i found were female pros.

Thanks in advance (don't worry though, if i can't find any actual historical figures, I probably will just change the subject)

I worked for company A for 3 years. They renewed my H1-B visa then transferred me out of the country so I can launch a product line. Although I am with the same company, I was then obtaining my paychecks outside of the USA. They decided not to revoke my H1-B in order to insure that I can return to the USA periodically to be informed of new technologies. Now I reentered the USA then quit company A and obtained work with company B. At the moment my H1-B is in process for transfer. No news has been relayed to me to let me know if the transfer was accepted. Is my situation going to jeopardize my current application to change my status to green card based on my wife's petition? If anyone can help me, please respond to this question. I really need advice on this matter.

i have no real family, no real friends, no true support... every one that does something for me lets me know they do me a favor, I have never had and true love without stipulations or them playing with me.

Now my male friend who is completely un-understanding, of the torture and abuse that i have endured while with him, from his family memebers he tells me to leave! hes making me work my way back into his heart becauae he says i have no common sense??? i was so depressed that i self mutilate, over take anti depressents and im afraid and feel i have to defend myself. but he still gets angry at me and says what i do adds up.

so now i have to earn his care and stuff because of these mistakes i have made, now he tells me everyday im fat, stupid, he dosent know what hes gonna do, hes gonna take out other women.. knowing i have no where to go

but im fed up and im going to try and find a safe way to kill myself because i am tired and dont want to fight anymore...

i want help!

I don't go overboard buying things for my children throughout the rest of the year. No is a word they areuse to hearing. But when it comes to christmas I usually try to get them everything I think they may want and then a few things they don't expect to see. Below is a list of what I have purchased for my children so far, and what I am wanting to know is will they be "thrilled" to see these things or do I need to add a few more items. Any suggestions are welcome.

Isn't a military tank just an oversized Dalek? Inbreeding, devolution and laziness will eventually result in everyone having a wheelchair. ok i need some help i have this girlfriend that ive been with for about 6 yrs and some of my family says shes cheated i dont know if i can trust the family because some of the people could be lying anywho when i bring the subject up to her she becomes angry and says she is not cheating but refuses to talk about it, any further then that she did not do anything i have gut feelings that she has but what do i do if shes saying she is not doing anything but isnt willing to talk about it ?also if she was to cheat it would have been a couple of years ago because since this rumor was told to me she now stays in and goes no where but after this amount of time it still bothers me and she still gets angry and walks away from me what i want to know is why does she get angry and walk away from me ?
