I don't go overboard buying things for my children throughout the rest of the year. No is a word they areuse to hearing. But when it comes to christmas I usually try to get them everything I think they may want and then a few things they don't expect to see. Below is a list of what I have purchased for my children so far, and what I am wanting to know is will they be "thrilled" to see these things or do I need to add a few more items. Any suggestions are welcome.

To answer the question that has been asked a few times. "Why does a 6 year old need an mp3 player?" Well she is very musicly inclined and has played guitar for 3 years now. Music is her life. I got her own MP3 player so she would leave her brothers alone. Currently she uses his CD player more than he does. I was going to just give her his CD player after he got his Mp3 player but the MP3 player is much smaller and easier for her to carry around with her.

I do have things to stuff their stockings with, such as candy, school supplies, personal care items like lotions, bubble baths, toothbrushes.

I think,in my OWN personal opinion, you are giving them a VERY good amount as well as list of gifts. What about the stocking stuffers, did you get them too,or did I miss that part of your list of gifts? A suggestion on stocking stuffers,go to the local Dollar Tree store, they have tons of stuff for under $1 and you can really stuff a stocking with lots and lots of good stuff and candy too. If they aren't "Thrilled" with what you got them, then take it all back, get the money back and donate it to a charity in THEIR name which will help less fortunate children benefit from it.

You don't go overboard buying things for your kids?! This sounds like you did go a little overboard this year. I mean a MP3 player for a 6yr old and a PSP and MP3 player for a 12yr old?! What do they need those for at that age!

I really think they will be OVERLY thrilled to get these things and and NO you don't need to add anything else. Just make sure that you don't allow them to bring the MP3 players to school with them! The only other thing I would give them are rules on where and when the MP3 players can and can't be used.

I would have loved to have this kind of Christmas like this as a child! They should feel pretty darn lucky!

I think you are all set. Sounds like a lot of fun stuff. They should be more then thrilled a PSP and a MP3 player for the boy are more then enough. The girl will love the dolls and I don't see a problem with a MP3 player for her(it is basically the new CD player).

Merry Christmas!

If they aren't satisfied with what you have listed, I think they are a little ungrateful. You list a lot of items that very popular and expensive. They should be more than happy. We are going through hard times, so I talked to my kids about a month before Christmas and told them that Santa needed to give to kids that need more than them, so they will not be getting a lot for Christmas. Have a happy one! Your very generous to your kids and I hope they appreciate you!!

Good Lord man you kids will never know the true meaning of christmas. I know you love them very much but every thing in reason. I wish that I could buy just about half of this for my family. But our Christmas is going to very skippy this year. Instead of buying so much for youre children you should have bought all these gifts and given them to Toys for tots, till other children could have had a good Christmas.

Seems like plenty too me... I guess the question is harder to answer because it really all depends on what *they* expect. If they are expecting a trip to Disney and a Pony...

They should be thrilled with a fourth of those things. Your kids are spoiled.

They should be extremely happy. If not, send them to me. I know some under priviledged kids that would be happy for just one of them.
