I read somewhere that there was one species of frog that lived in salt water, and not the African dwarf or clawed frog. I can't seem to remember what species that was! Help!

I need to follow up to my question yesterday about "welfare." I just want to say that I was NOT trying to put anyone who is legitimalty on governement help down. I am fully aware that there are people who do need help. People who have lost their jobs, or their spouse leaves them. I was just trying to comment that there are people who work the system and others who truly need help. Growing up, my father hurt himself at work and was wrongfully denied work comp. because his employer fought him. We were denied any governement assistance and went without groceries days at a time. Where is the justice in that? Would you not be cross with people who "work the system" and take away from those who need? I think people forget that there are a lot of working class citizens that need help too, but are forgotten or shuned by the system because they do work, therfore they don't qualify for help. Remeber that before you are quick to defend the opposing side. Happy holidays all.

When I pre-heat the oven, it reaches the desired temperature in around 20 minutes. I wait a few minutes to check that it's stable. But when I put in the items I need to bake, the temperature drops down by about 50 degrees. Is that normal? How do I make sure it doesn't happen? Do I crank up the temperature? Thanks.

It all started because he keeps his profile set at "Single" even though we have been in a serious relationship for six months.
We even spent Thanksgiving at his parent's place together.

When I asked him about his "single status" on myspace, he kind of acted as if it wasn't a big deal even though most people use MYSPACE to hookup.

So, I set up a fake profile and used my hot friends pic for the profile. It's my friend from back home who he does not know.

Anyway I sent him a message that read. "Hey, I just saw your profile and thought you were real cute and sexy."

HE RESPONDED. "Who you kidding girl, tell me your not breaking hearts left and right."

I RESPONDED."Oh, boy I think your trouble and ornery."

HE RESPONDED. "Nothing wrong with being ornery. It's healthy right.

I am about 5'6 and can get half of my hand over the net while I'm blocking. I have no trouble spinking down (yes, I do the whole wrist-snap deal) but I want to block affectively too!I know I can improve my jumping but I don't know what are the excercises that can help. Any suggestions?

I purchased a ring on 5/5/06 at X Jewelers.Order total $1750.74 incl. tax.Gave fiance ring 7/2/06. 2 weeks later first problem, the prongs on the crown were crooked and the side stones were loose, The ring was sent out and given back a week later. A couple weeks later side stones were loose. She brought the ring back to the X. X called to notify her that they thought the setting was bad and they wanted to replace the setting with a new one which she agreed to. Ring came back in it had the same problems. We were given the option of ordering a new setting of the same style or choosing a different style. We asked at that time if we could get just return the whole thing considering the problems, but they said we were past their 90 day return policy (which we were only past the 90 days because they had the ring in for repairs). After finding out it would take a month to get the new ring in the same style we decided to choose a new style. We placed the order for the new ring on 9/11/06 ...

I live in an older appartment building in Ontario Canada. My tap water smells and tastes bad. I'm sure it's because the pipes are molding or decomposing. I bought a Brita tap filter which is great for drinking water but is not made for use with hot water. This causes a big problem when washing dishes. I can't have a dishwasher. I usually boil my dish water before use but this takes so long it really turns the job into a chore. What can I do (somewhat cheaply) to fix my water? And no, moving is not an option.
