Do you think you can do your tax return yourself? If so, visit irs.gov and click on the FreeFile icon. File electronically and have your refund deposited directly to your bank account. You will not be able to file until January 12th, but that is still quicker than printing off the forms and mailing the return. Judy usually mentions VITA, a volunteer program run by the IRS. You can search for that on the IRS website as well and see if you qualify.

Please do not be suckered into loans from H & R Block or similar companies. The APR can be as high as 400% or more. If you must use a chain-store preparer, you can opt to have the preparation fee taken out of the return. This costs extra ($25 or so a couple of years ago) and your refund is delayed a couple of days because they cut you a check once they receive the refund. You might actually be better off going to a CPA who offers electronic filing in that case.

If you are doing yourself, do with Turbo Tax or other tax software, and make sure to eFile. Also request that the refund be direct deposited in your account.

If you do the above, there's a good chance you'll have your tax refund in less than 2 weeks.

DO NOT get one of those tax refund loans from H &R Block and others. Sure, they'll give you your refund that day, but if you compute the fee as a loan interest rate, you end up paying a fortune in interest for that loan.

Tax preparers can get you an instant refund but the price is steep - $100 or so + int. Just don't have so much withheld this yr. No excuse for ever having a large refund. Interest free loan to govt.

File electronically, and have your refund direct deposited - you'll get it in 10 days to two weeks. The "fast refund" services at H&R Block and Jackson Hewitt are very expensive short-term loans.

I don't know about any websites but if you fill out the appropriate forms for your taxes and bring your W-2's and those forms to any tax place like H&R Block, they will be able to electronically file them for you and if you have a bank account, checking or savings, bring in your account number and the banks routing number or a voided check for checking, you can have them directly deposited into your account and you will recieve your refund in about 2 weeks or so.

everybody can inform you they'd get your refund ASAP yet they are mendacity to you and in basic terms charging you additional money. Issuing of refunds has to do with IRS, getting your return processed. IRS takes for direct deposit as much as 3 weeks to technique the return. in case you mail the return it takes IRS as much as six weeks to technique the return and subject the refund. At this is 3 weeks from the date IRS gets or accepts you tax return.

just file it early ( whenver you get all the paperwork ready, Or if you have handful of documents to worry about call the bank/employer and get exact numbers, if possible ) and ask for tax to be refunded by direct deposit to your bank account.
