I'm in this 'super long names' phase and I want your opinion on some of the combos it's produced. I'm warning you, they're a little out there.

Caroline Annabet Serafina Fern
Charlotte Suzanna Persephone Jane
Elspeth Clementine Leanora Kate
Isabel Augusta Imogen Anne

Now honestly, is it way too much? If so, what names would you take out to shorten the combos?

Just to clarify, I did mean to spell Annabet (It's a legitimate name). It was not a failed attempt at Annabeth. ;-)

Persephone is pronounced Per-sef-uh-knee.

Yes its sorta overkill for such a small baby
BUT its your baby and you can do anything you want

Most people will only know the child by the first and last name only anyways

Your names are not all that bad when you shorten them.
Caroline Annabet Serafina Fern
Carol Annabet Fern or Caroline Annabet Fern
Caroline Fern or Annabet Fern or Fern Annabet
Charlotte Suzanna Persephone Jane
Jane Charlotte or Suzanna Jane or Persephone Jane
Elspeth Clementine Leanora Kate
Leanora Kate
Clementine Leanora Kate (sorry Elspeth is ugly)
Isabel Augusta Imogene Anne
Sounds nice and also it sounds nice as
Isabel Augusta Anne
Isabel Anne
Augusta Anne
Imogene Augusta

When I was in college, I knew someone with 2 middle names and a hyphenated last name, and she had no trouble. If you are really set on all of these names, then go for it. It's true though, most documents will not give enough space for all of these names, so she / you won't be able to use them all on a regular basis.

I like all of the names you have picked, and in most cases, you could consider just splitting them down the middle- i.e. Isabel Augusta and Persephone Jane. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the way the name Serafina flows into the name Fern. Other than that, they really are all nice names.

I named my son Julian Hunter Lee __________ (his last name)

I do think it is fine for 2 middle names but those are a bit too long.

Everytime i get a form or something that has to do with my son it always has his first name and just one of his middle names (Hunter). I love his name and i do not regret naming him what i did.

It is your baby so name her what you want since you will be going through all the pain of having her.

Caroline Annabet Serafina Fern -No
Charlotte Suzanna Persephone Jane -no
Elspeth Clementine Leanora Kate -no
Isabel Augusta Imogen Anne- Like the name isabelle

Good luck

Split it up like this:

Caroline Annabet(h)
Serafina Fern
Charlotte Suzanna
Persephone Jane
Elspeth Leonora
Clementine Kate
Isabel Augusta
Imogen Anne

Yeah, that's really the order you had them in (besides Elspeth/Clementine/Leonora/Kate), but they sound fine that way. They're just too long!

If you're going to have three or more syllables in a name, keep it to Firstname Middlename. It's all right, I think, to have more than one middle name if they're simple. For example, if you loved Anne, Janice, and Maribel, sure ... make it Janice Maribel Ann. But not Persephone Clementine Annabella. That's too many syllables.

Caroline Annabet-is different and feminine, takeout Serafina and Fern
I don't like any of the second one.
Elspeth Clementine Leanora, doesn't really need the Kate
Isabel Augusta is a nice strong name.

Is there something to the names or do you just like them? If you just like them why not choose 2 for this baby and save the rest for other children to come? Remember this, you really only use their 1st name most times, so you won't even hear the others on a daily basis. Mine have a 1st, middle and last and the only time they hear anything but their 1st name is when they are in trouble. lol
