There's this guy at school who people have told me that he likes me, but I'm not sure whether it's a joke or not. He does look at me in a weird way when he sees me, and I keep hearing him say stuff, like the other day he was offering somebody money to ask 'her' something, when I was sat in front of him.

Brain Dead parents threatening to sue after I threw them out of my Resturant for not controlling her bratty 3 1/2 year old .....the brat was running all over the place....You should NOT allow children to just run freely in a resturant. It is not only a DANGER to them, but to other customers
Just remember, having a child is a choice not a law. Part of chosing to have children is the loss of some choices that go with it.

An adult can't go into a movie, coffee shop or restaurant and run arond and scream, why should a child?
Say goodbye to Starbucks and hello to McDonalds...for a while.

.... Just as people with babies who can't find baby sitters should get used to missing out on going to the movies. Chalk it up to the sacrifices of parenthood. Rather than force your child to adapt to your grown-up environment, why not spend more time in theirs? Next time, try the park or the zoo.
In cities around the country, coffeehouses are putting parents on notice Restraunts now ban kids

so are they all wrong with this notion or does the bible really contradict itself? because in revalations it says from the words of jesus himself "because you are lukwarm and nither hot nor cold i will vomit you out of my mouth." sooo does this verse pretty much say that you have to do more than just except him or your still going to hell? or is ths verse contradicting what the apostal pual and most christians teach?

My son has be recently diganosed with allergy induced asthma. I give him his meds every night ( singular, claritian, nasonex pulmicort) and then it flairs up zopanex. My question is he just had bhronchitis in november. Here it is mid december and I noticed a cough again. Last January he had to be hospilized for it. I am giving him his meds like clockwork. Never misses a dose but he keeps getting sick. Is that normal for a kid with alleregy induced asthma ( he is allergic to dust mites and mold) . He does not act like he feels bad but that cough concerns me. I take him to the doctor ( might as well go on and move in) he has missed over a week of school so far. Does it get better as he gets older? Does he need more aggressive treatment? Or is this just part of having an asthmatic child????

There is a radio-controlled plane I want to buy as a gift. There are two to choose from: one with 49 MHz and one with 27 MHz. Which one is better?

Since I have no idea what a MHz is (mega hertz???) can you please explain that too? Both are the same price and contain the same accessories, which is why I'm confused as to which one is better.

My girlfriend was engaged with her x while she was with me, i forgave her, and she broke up with him, yet they are still "chummy". But now we're trying the long distance thing, cause she got accepted to colledge and i now work, but she is now living closer to her x, how can i be sure that they wont get back together? i mean she always said she prefered him morethan me. We have been through alot of **** together, most of it was her, i guess. Anyhoo should we go our seperate ways and end the tortour of being apart or will that make things worse? I love her but shes weak...too weak to survive this without me, i fear she might find other means of comfort, in her x or any male who may be close to her. how can i be sure she wont, she so far away and shes a damn good liar, i mean damn good! i just have to tke her word for it...but how can i be sure she stays faithful?

There is a somewhat gritty feeling in the center section of my Corian counter top where I do most of my baking. The outer edges are still very smooth. What is best thing to use to remove that grittiness?

This is an absolutely incredible short interview with Rick Warren , "Purpose Driven Life " author and pastor of Saddleback Church in California.
In the interview by Paul Bradshaw with Rick Warren, Rick said:
People ask me, What is the purpose of life? And I respond: In a nutshell, life is preparation for eternity. We were made to last forever, and God wants us to be with Him in Heaven.
One day my heart is going to stop, and that will be the end of my body-but not the end of me. I may live 60 to 100 years on earth, but I am going to spend trillions of years in eternity. This is the warm-up act - the dress rehearsal. God wants us to practice on earth what we will do forever in eternity. We were made by God and for God, and until you figure that out, life isn't going to make sense.
Life is a series of problems: Either you are in one now, you're just coming out of one, or you're getting ready to go into another one.
The reason for this is that God is more interested in your character than your comfort. God is more interested in making your life holy than He is in making your life happy. We can be reasonably happy here on earth, but that's not the goal of life. The goal is to grow in character, in Christ likeness.
This past year has been the greatest year of my life but also the toughest, with my wife getting cancer. I used to think that life was hills and valleys - you go through a dark time, then you go to the mountaintop, back and forth. I don't believe that anymore. Rather than life being hills and valleys, I believe that it's kind of like two rails on a railroad track, and at all times you have something good and something bad in your life.
No matter how good things are in your life, there is always something bad that needs to be worked on. And no matter how bad things are in your life, there is always something good you can thank God for. You can focus on your purposes, or you can focus on your problems. If you focus on your problems, you're going into self-centeredness, "which is my problem, my issues, my pain." But one of the easiest ways to get rid of pain is to get your focus off yourself and onto God and others. We discovered quickly that in spite of the prayers of hundreds of thousands of people, God was not going to heal my wife or make it easy for her. It has been very difficult for her, and yet God has strengthened her character, given her a ministry of helping other people, given her a testimony, drawn her closer to Him and to people. You have to learn to deal with both the good and the bad of life. Actually, sometimes learning to deal with the good is harder. For instance, this past year, all of a sudden, when the book sold 15 million copies, it made me instantly very wealthy. It also brought a lot of notoriety that I had never had to deal with before. I don't think God gives you money or notoriety for your own ego or for you to live a life of ease. So I began to ask God what He wanted me to do with this money, notoriety and influence. He gave me two different passages that helped me decide what to do, II Corinthians 9 and Psalm 72.
First, in spite of all the money coming in, we would not change our lifestyle one bit. We made no major purchases.
Second, about midway through last year, I stopped taking a salary from the church.

Third, we set up foundations to fund an initiative we call The Peace Plan to plant churches, equip leaders, assist the poor, care for the sick, and educate the next generation.
Fourth, I added up all that the church had paid me in the 24 years since I started the church, and I gave it all back. It was liberating to be able to serve God for free. We need to ask ourselves: Am I going to live for possessions? Popularity? Am I going to be driven by pressures? Guilt? Bitterness? Materialism? Or am I going to be driven by God's purposes (for my life)? When I get up in the morning, I sit on the side of my bed and say, God, if I don't get anything else done today, I want to know You more and love You better ...God didn't put me on earth just to fulfill a to-do list. He's more interested in what I am than what I do. That's why we're called human beings, not human doings.
Happy moments, PRAISE GOD.
Difficult moments, SEEK GOD.
Quiet moments, WORSHIP GOD.
Painful moments, TRUST GOD.
Every moment, THANK GOD

I want to know where God is, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac...the God that I read about when I was 8 years old. Is he in the Christian church, Islam Mosque, or Hindu whatever? I don't know where to look...............................I'm crying.........................I'm lost. I don't know who to believe, Christian, Islam, whatever religion there is out there. I feel like just forgetting this life and not look back, drop my God, and tell the rock to fall on me.

I have naturally dark brown hair, but it was colored light brown with caramel highlights (That's what I need touched up at the roots). Will a few thin light highlights give me a little edgier look? My only limitation is that my husband asked me not to go with blue or purple streaks, so other than that, almost anything goes. Any advice?

Not a single study has found children of lesbian or gay parents to be disadvantaged in any significant respect relative to children of heterosexual parents. Indeed, the evidence to date suggests that home environments provided by lesbian and gay parents are as likely as those provided by heterosexual parents to support and enable children's psychosocial growth. [Ref. from the American Psychological Association]
And same for the American Academy of Pediatrics and so are the rest of the leading reality-based children's advocacy and wellness organizations in accord.
What can you offer to the topic other than from the bible?
