There is a somewhat gritty feeling in the center section of my Corian counter top where I do most of my baking. The outer edges are still very smooth. What is best thing to use to remove that grittiness?

It can be polished out with a Scotch-Brite pad. I would suggest using a white one as they are the finest grit. It should work just fine.

i imagine you need to get some help from DuPont. They make Corian. visit their website on the web by looking "DuPont Corian." you'll locate an 800 decision there. once you've been swindled, they'd be able to inform you. they could inform you also if the installation were performed right. per chance it truly is too skinny, or erratically supported. once you've something in writing that this replaced into to be a Corian installation and it replaced into no longer, you've a good to bypass criminal on the contractor. I wager DuPont will be happy to participate in pinning the contractor to the wall. I doubt in case your hearth coverage coverage might want to help you, till there's a minimum of charring of the cloth. i wish i'm incorrect.
