I am struggling with several issues that stem directly from Vatican II and it's documents.

I had finished reading the Council of Florence as well Council of Trent, et al. before I tackled Vatican II, thinking it better to go in chronological order.

I have found myself at a major quandry. Frankly some of the documents in VII are...suspect. There is alot of ambiguity within said text. Then upon looking at the condition of the Church since the implementation of Vatican II--simply deplorable and if I look back at Florence, Trent, Nicene it seems that Vatican II 'chucked' many of the sacred traditions. The history since VII has bore no possible GOOD fruit from what I see. Could someone assist me and show me what good has come from Vatican II?

Secondly, do I have to follow the Vatican II documents? Reason I ask; is that there is no doctrinal declaration; though there is a pastoral declaration. Help, please!

My baby is 7 weeks today and we went for a check up yesterday. He is 25th percentile in height, 10th percentile in weight and 5th percentile in head circumferance. I am worried that he has not gained much. I am giving him only expressed breast milk whenever he is hungry. Should I start supplementing with formula? Also I will be starting work next week and plan to continue pumping milk for my baby. Please provide your valuable advice.

Baby was 6 lbs 8 oz at birth and 20 inches in height
At 7 weeks, he is 9lbs 5 oz and 22.5 inches height.

All the other babies I know take breastmilk and formula and are growing fast.

I put salt on almost everything I eat. I want to cut down, but I can't seem to do it. It's almost like I'm addicted to it. I've tried salt subsitutes but they taste crappy.

Anybody ever have this problem ??

hypothetically speaking here (because i'm single)..girls..if your boyfriend had kissed the same girl on a few different occasions while you were dating..would you end it? do any of you actually forgive after cheating, or is any form of cheating in your eyes a quick end to your relationship?
i know alot of girls who stand if different places with this...personally any cheating unless it was one kiss..just once..and if he was very drunk (without feelings for the girl) i would forgive him...there'd be hell to pay though...

My daughter has a bad habit about hitting me in the face. I have tried smacking her butt (not hard) and saying no but she still does it. It is all the time. I am surprised my glasses are not broken yet because she hits me hard enough to knock my glasses off. And I cannot afford any more. What more can I do??
