In my opinion it is a dangerous to try and pure hell. Dangerous to your soul. But really you have to consider your definition of friends...everyone can be decent, kind and considerate to each other no matter if it is a love relationship, one sided or not. But as far as 'friends', giving and sharing intimate pieces of yourself to someone you should take those steps unless you have the a willing 'friend' in return. Friendship requires 2 people the same as a love relationship does. It requires the comittment and efforts of both. If this person doesn't treat you good give the gift you are offering to someone else that may be needing a friend like you and will be a friend in return. Don't settle and DON'T take abuse. Be strong and be around people that like the real you. The world is full of loving interesting people. Keep your antennas up-you'll find a friend where you least expect it. And when you here that guiding voice inside-make a move! Good luck.

Anything is possible but I think it would be very hard to be around this person, especially when they enter into a relationship with someone.

I guess it could be possible...but i think it would be frustrating and continually disappointing.....Seems to me you would be always hoping for more and that would get tiresome and be painful......I guess if you are a strong person....you might could hang in there and be ok with it

Its possible, but its also one of the most painful things you could do to yourself. Don't do it.
