Absolutely not! The most important thing is for you to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, and have a personal relationship with Him. Then the morals that you have because of Him will make a difference now and for eternity. It is by His grace that you may enter the kingdom of God, and not by works, no matter how much of a moral effort you make.

The single most important thing is to accept the fact that you are a sinner and accept Jesus Christ into your life for salvation. But first, you must understand that you ARE a sinner. Feel free to ask me about this :-)

A good moral effort is great, but you God says you have to be perfect to go to Heaven and no one is that good. For one thing we are all born with the original sin caused by Adam and Eve. God is offering to forgive your sins all you have to do to accept his offer is to confess your sins and believe with all your heart that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins.

The MOST important is to open your heart and your mind to the love and mercy of the one true God, and accept salvation thru His Son, Jesus.

Unless you have been forgiven your sins it really doesn't matter what kind of life you've lead moral or not. Jesus is the only way to the Father.

Nope, I liked the cats answer. If you don't believe Jesus Christ atoned for your sins, then he can't help you. Doesn't matter how good you thing your are or what you did.

No, we all fail to live up to God's holy standards. Jesus, God's free gift to us is the only way to get into his right standing. Our righteousness is like filthy rags to God.
