In a recepie for Gingerbread cookies in a book that I have it calls for "1 teaspoon of double-acting baking powder". Is this a specific type of baking powder or will regular baking powder work?
Any insight would be lovely!

My half grown kitty Sammyson just had surgery on his eyes, making him blind. The vet says I have to clean his eyes 3 to 4 times a day with a wash cloth by dabbing it on his eyes, and then I have to put some antibiotic cream all over the stitches and the eyes - but he won't stay still, he keeps backing out of my hold on him and I don't wanna grab the scruff because it pulls on the skin around his eyes - he naturally doesn't want me messing with his eyes, but I have to, or they will get infected all over again. My hubby gets mad and holds him too tight when I ask him to help me, which further terrifies the baby. How can I hold him still by myself? Help?

His almost-book "If I Did It" could have spawned a whole new genre of literature: the "theoretical confession," where the author details exactly how his villainous acts would have been carried out...except of course that he did nothing of the sort. I'd like to know which books of this kind you'd like to see written. 2 days ago I started geting cold chills and shaking... I don't feel sick but my body feels really cold.. my legs feel a little numb.. I was recently taking trazadone to help me sleep but I stoped taking them... I was also recently told by a doctor that I need my gallbladder removed because of stones(could that cause the cold chills).. I do not have insurance and I cannot go to the dr unless its an emergancy will someone please give me advice? Thanks in advance

I have taken "the test" that says I am an indigo child. From what I have read, it seems to lack any real foundation on truth. See, I am very attracted to her and not just because she is physically smokin', but also because she is intellectual. Can anyone tell me more about shea butter? I found some in an African store, at an incredibly low price, just 3 dollars.

I know this is more of a cosmetic question, but I put it in alternative medicine, because I know it is used to help dry skin and hair.

It is totally non toxic, right? So I can go ahead and use it on my hands, and still prepare food, wash dishes, things like that?

I also wanted to know. The lady in the store says I can put it in my hair and leave it in, 5 minutes. It will just rinse out. Or mix with regular conditioner and that will take it out when ya rinse.

But could I also just leave alittle in, as a hair groom? That's something i would really like to use it for. Thank you!
