I had 4, and then 2 of them had babies, so had 6, but in the last 2 months i have lost 3. One today. I am very sad and think it might be a sparrowhawk. Can anyone suggest anything to keep hawks away?

My 4 month old doesnt eat in the middle of the night anymore but wakes up and fusses with his eyes closed. All I have to do is put his pacifier back in his mouth and he goes back to sleep. But sometimes it happens 4 or 5 times a night. If i just let him fuss he wakes himself all the way up and gets louder and louder. Should I just let him keep fussing/crying until he falls back to sleep? or is there maybe another reason he is fussing at night and im just soothing it with his pacifier? Or is that all he really wants and i should keep doing it until he grows out of it?

According to this article ( http://www.slate.com/id/3529/ ) a lot of chefs are influenced by Indian cuisine, but because they aren't trained in it, sometimes they use the spices wrong. As an example it mentions that you should never use turmeric raw. Personally, I didn't know that about turmeric. I wonder what else I have to learn.

chilli pepper
black mustard seed
cumin
turmeric
fenugreek
ginger
coriander (leaves as well as 'seeds' which are actually fruits)
asafoetida
cardamom
cinnamon
clove
nutmeg
bay leaf
mint leaf
curry leaf
saffron
rose petal essence
What rules or tips can you think of for using these spices? I would guess that some need heat to release their flavor, while others should be added near the end of cooking to retain their freshness? Perhaps some need to be taken out of the food after cooking, while others can stay in?

The medications make me tired and so I don't like to take them. I don't have them very often, but when I do my whole day is ruined. They just increase throughout the day. I wake up in the mornings and usually have a different attitude, but feel very drained. I started having them about two years ago, now, they are starting to interfere with my relationships. I just started dating again after two years of living the single life, started back to college, I work fulltime, and am a single mother. I have a full plate and know they are being caused by so much change, but everything is important, and I can't give any of them up. Any advice?

NT? I've heard from several different people who go to church every Sunday that the only real purpose of the OT is to tell a brief history of the world and the events leading up to and prophesying Christ's birth and life.
I think there's a lot to be learned from the OT. It doesn't deminish my need to read and understand (or try to understand) the words of Christ, but there are valuable lessons taught in the OT - especially if you get into the reasons why things were done the way they were, the social norms of the time.
I'm LDS (Mormon) now, but growing up I never heard a sermon preached from the OT. It seemed to me that the preacher was leaving out a whole Testement. It seems that if the vast majority of Christians believe this, about the OT, then there's no point (for them) to even carry a full Bible - all they need is the NT portion.
I'm not trying to start something, but I would like to know your thoughts.

I had naturally medium brown hair last week and i colored it burgundy. My husband and i don't like it much because it looks too purplish for us. Anyways, would putting brown hairdye overtop of it get rid of the puplish hues? or any other advice? There are no good hair salons where i live! I have to do it myself
yes there are boxes of hair color ! Any shade...i dont care if its a little purple, but won't plain brown hair dye help it ??

Okay..this man's mother had picked up after him all his life. He is the baby of seven. We now have a nine month old..and the house is constantly a mess. I'm worried about baby sticking things in his mouth..because of the mess. The laundry is neverending.. and the two of us work..so when My other half gets home, he stays stationed in front of the t.v.. He is a great guy..but the house is out of hand. I've talked about this over and over..but things don't change..I've also gone on strike..Does not change anything.
He spends time with baby..he loves me..But I feel like a slave and really don't want to be. Please help?!?

I am on a special diet and I can not eat or drink anything that contains caffeine. I know that there is decaf coffe, but that decaf STILL has caffeine in it, just less. Is there any coffee out there that does not have ANY caffeine in it?
